Race Fleet

Use your skills and start practicing racing after Tackers 3

Course Details

Race Fleet is the next step from Tackers 3. Sailing in your own boat or a Club training boat, an Instructor will help you practice your skills in a controlled and fun environment. The basic concepts of racing are introduced, including racing rules and starting techniques.

Race Fleet runs on Sunday mornings, (except long-weekends) with six sessions included. You can do Green Fleet as many times as you like, so progress is at a pace which enables you to build time on the water and which encourages kids to keep practicing and developing their skills, most trainees will spend 12-18 months in the Green Fleet before they move into Club racing. This builds confidence and knowledge so that their initial racing experience in a Club event is not too daunting.
