Sunday Sailing Club is a fun, safe sailing environment in which young and old DSC members and recent course graduates can come down to the Club for a Sunday morning sail, safe in the knowledge that our qualified instructors are close by should they need any assistance. Whether you would like to work on any particular skills or simply get out on the water, speak with the instructors before you launch to ensure you get the most out of every session.
There are a range of Club dinghies to choose from including Pacers, Picos, Optis and the Bahia. Members are also welcome to sail in their own dinghies.
Participants will be asked to sail within a designated sailing area for safety reasons. If for any reason you need to leave the sailing area, please notify the instructor.
For insurance purposes, Sunday Sailing Club is open to all Darwin Sailing Club full sailing members. Recent course graduates can attend three sessions before they will be asked to join the Club as a members.
$35 per person (including boat hire) or $15 if using your own boat or have a hire voucher
DSC will provide participants with life jackets and boats. We have toilets and change rooms, and water fountains.
However there are a few things you will need to bring with you to ensure safety and fun on the water:
If any course that you wish to participate in is fully booked or not scheduled, please email an expression of interest to our Training Coordinator at [email protected]
