Jack Benson first to enter the DSC Trial Match Racing event

Jack Benson first to enter the DSC Trial Match Racing event

Jack's "Half Boat Racing" team have won the first section of the event - They were first to submit a formal entry. With two junior world multihull titles to his name, as well as match racing experience, this will be an interesting entry to watch.

Other entries include John Lynch. John will retain much of the team he took to the "Harken" at RPAYC in November and the "Hardy Cup" at RSYS in February. They showed good improvement over these regattas and will be looking to use this event as a solid preparation for the Darwin International Youth Match Racing Regatta in July.

DSC Junior member Jed Cruickshank will be skippering the  "Spin 180" team. Jed attended the "Harken" and is moving into the skipper position with a team of three graduates of the club's program with Mission Australia. This team is also entered in the Darwin Youth Regatta.

The well credentialed Jonathon Talbot, who is currently sailing a Tasar with his wife Caroline, is putting together a crew to try an upset.

Further entries are encouraged. Please enter via the DSC website - HERE

If you can't race, come down to Fannie Bay to watch the racing from 1015 Hrs
