As part of preparations for the two graded match racing regattas later in the year, DSC is conducting a Trial Match Racing Day on Sunday June 25th.
This is an ungraded event aimed at testing our preparedness for the major regattas as well as providing competition preparation for NT entries in the Darwin International Youth Match Racing Regatta.
In order to assist in planning the event and testing the systems applications for invitation must be submitted via the on-line application form.
The regatta will be sailed on Fannie Bay in the DSC's new fleet of Elliott 7 keelboats. The build quality ensures evenly matched performance.
The courses will be standard match racing windward/leeward configuration. Every team will race each other team in the round-robin format, followed by finals. The finals format will depend on the number of entrant teams.
The regatta is a key component of the DSC’s policy to develop high level sailing skills and teamwork and to maintain engagement of youth.
