Twilight Sailing

Wash away your working week

Tuesday Twilight Sprint Series

Tuesday Sprints are short windward/leeward races open to big boats. The Sprints will be no-spinnaker races, so a great way to get some new sailors out on the water. They can also be a great way to sharpen up your crew work and just have some fun on the beautiful Fannie Bay.

The Series is open to any big boats that want to compete or if you don't have your own boat you can hire one of our DSC Elliott 7's.

The aim is to run three races between 1700 and sunset. All you need to do is meet at the Rotunda in the boat park at 1630 for the briefing.

If you are wanting to hire out an Elliott please contact the office to reserve an Elliott.

Friday Night Twilight

Need to kick start your weekend? Blow your working week away and head out for a casual soothing sail. The perfect way to start your weekend with a chilled sail on the gorgeous Fannie bay with the best view of our world famous sunsets. The start is on the water but the finish is at the bar.

Kicking off at 5:30 ish, all boats are welcomed and it is a easy course and is our flagship champagne sailing event. After the sails are packed away everyone is invited to the Club for a feed and a coldie to find out who officially won, but everyone is a winner.

Club boats are available for hire to our members. See link to the right.

Bring your friends along, if you're not on a boat it usually isn't to hard to jump on board from the Club that afternoon. Everyone is welcome and there is always someone nearby to lend a hand if you need one.

Check out the sailing calendar to find the next twilight date.
